Despite economy, SBBC grads still being hired!

We’re proud to announce that even in these difficult times, our graduates are still being hired!

Through our hands-on training, expert instructors, externships - where students receive real-world experience in the field before they graduate - and a great career services team, our graduates are given a competitive edge in today’s tight work force.

Medical:

• Neighborhood Clinic in Santa Barbara continues to hire our well-prepared current MA students and our experienced MA graduates.
• Although sad to leave their great instructors, our Santa Maria grads are excited about their new careers at Pediatric Medical Group and a local physician’s office as Medical Assistants.
• Since she did such an outstanding job as an extern, our Online MOS grad was hired on full-time at her externship site as a Medical Records Technician in Roanoke, VA.
• After graduating from SBBC’s Online program, our MOS graduate can’t wait to start her new position as a Medical Receptionist at a large medical practice in Chino, CA.
• Santa Maria grad, Carla T., began her career as a Medical Biller at a local chiropractor’s office.

Business:

• City of Ventura continues to hire our well-trained graduates, hiring their 3rd extern from this past term.
• After receiving their degrees in Business Administration, Santa Maria graduates were offered positions at Fusion Marketing.
• Julia L. accepted a position as an HR Assistant for Aviation Consultants, Inc. in the Central Coast.
• A Palm Desert grad will begin her exciting hew business career at Indio’s Premier Loan Services.

 Legal:

• Well-trained in the legal field and justice system, our Criminal Justice graduate from Santa Maria was offered a position at Lompoc Public Defenders office.

Wellness:

• After graduating and successfully earning their NSCA certifications, our Fitness Trainer grads were hired at Palm Desert’s Power of Fitness and The Body Syndicate as Fitness/Boot Camp Trainers.
• With their NSCA certification, our Palm Desert Fitness Trainer grads will start their careers as Fitness Boot Camp trainers at a major fitness facility in Desert Hot Springs.
